"Happy is the home with at least one cat"

Italian Proverb

Does your cat have:

  • Hairballs?
  • Mats?
  • Fleas?
  • Litter stuck in its paws?
  • A Funny Smell?
  • Bad Breath?
  • Long, sharp claws?
  • Icky stuff stuck on its rear end?
  • A dirty or greasy coat?
  • Eye discharge?
  • Waxy ears?
  • Or is your cat shedding all over your house?

If you answered YES to any of the above, then a professional cat groomer is just what you need! At Furry Friends Spa & Daycare we can take care of all of these problems and more! One of our focus is on cat grooming, we offer a relaxed and attentive atmosphere for each of our feline friend. We specialize in cats and we are very good at what we do.

Most people think that cats groom themselves, but in reality, cats lick themselves. Grooming and licking are two entirely different things. When a cat licks itself, he covers himself with saliva mixed with dander. Nothing is done during the licking process to relieve a cat's tangles, mats, fleas, dandruff, skin conditions, and unsanitary things hanging from its hindquarters. Remember a cat sleeps on the sofa or curls up on the very pillow you lay your head on at night.

At Furry Friends Spa & Daycare we actually groom them. We use the best products, high quality tools, and advanced techniques to remove tangles and mats, degrease coats, remove excess shedding, clean up dirty hindquarters, trim nails, neaten up overgrown faces, and fix any other problems that a cat may have that cannot be fixed by licking alone. In the end, you end up with a clean cat that looks and feels better than you ever thought possible.

We are professional cat groomers and know our stuff! Chantal has received training from the National Cat Groomers Institute of America, Inc. and obtained her Certified Feline Master Groomer certification after passing a total of nine exams that include both in-depth written exams and actual hands-on, practical exams.

We are here to transform your cat life by making his or her life cleaner and healthier. We are here to make your cat look and feel better and do it in the safest and most efficient way possible. After all, a groomed cat is a happy cat. And the people who get to live with them will be happier too!

How To Make your Cat a Happy Cat?

If your cat is matted, schedule an appointment with us. We will determine what de-matting process is best for your cat based on his or her coat type, age, health, and temperament. Once the mats are removed, either by regular comb de-matting or by shaving off the matted coat, keeping up with regular grooming appointments will prevent future matting. Most cats will need to be professionally groomed every eight to 12 weeks. Your groomer will be able to tell you how often is best for your cat. You can comb your cat in between grooms if you wish, we recommend a metal greyhound style comb and a slicker brush for maintance grooming. If regular professional grooming is done properly, combing is not necessary between grooming appointments.

This means you can spend your time petting your cat and giving him lots of love. Let the groomer do the dirty work for you. In the end you will have a beautiful kitty with healthy skin and coat instead of one that is uncomfortable and ill tempered because of lumpy mats that pull on his skin each time he moves.

A groomed cat truly is a happy cat! Is your cat Happy?

All cats like to look beautiful, smell good, feel clean, comfortable, and mat-free. This make them happy and good natured. Let us make your cat into a happy cat!

"Happy owner, happy cat. Indifferent owner, reclusive cat."
